How to Order Fence Materials

There are 2 ways you can order materials from Mossy Oak Aluminum. The first option is to use the information and shopping cart availble on this website to make your purchase. The second option is to send us a drawing of your project area with some basic dimensions and prefrences and we will help you to obtain the correct materials. Note: If you give us incorrect information you will probably receive the wrong product.

Measuring an Aluminum Project

After you have measured your property lines, draw a rough layout on a blank sheet of paper (does'nt need to be to scale). write down the sizes (in feet) of each section. Take into consideration any slopes or angles. You will have an oppotunity to mention any speacial requests during the purchase process. Like in the example (fig. 1) break down your aluminum project into its constituent parts. i.e. line posts, end posts, panels etc. All panels (unless special requested) will be 6ft wide. Simply devide your measured section i.e. 46ft by 6ft (46/6 = 7.6) then round up. The amount of panels needed for this section would be 8. You will have about 2ft left over from the cut which you may be able to use elsewhere on the project.

Then tell us the hight, style and color you want and we will take care of the rest. Please also remember to tell us about any special request (slopes angled panels etc). The example project (fig. 2) would require 18 standard panels, 3 rackable panels (for the 14ft slope), 2 4ft gates, 2 end posts (or brackets), 4 gate posts, 4 corner posts and 15 line posts.
