    Lake Mack-Forest Hills is located in northeastern Lake County at 28°59′56″N 81°25′40″W / 28.99889°N 81.42778°W (28.998876, -81.427696). The unincorporated community of Forest Hills is in the center of the CDP, surrounding a small lake of the same name. Lake Mack Park is a smaller unincorporated community in the southwest part of the CDP, surrounding Lake Mack. The CDP is 8 miles (13 km) west of the city of DeLand.

    According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 5.2 square miles (13.4 km2), of which 4.8 square miles (12.5 km2) are land and 0.35 square miles (0.9 km2), or 6.36%, are water.
